Iðunn supposed some explanation was in
order. She wrung the worst of the water
from her hair, though her dress was most
certainly ruined, and afforded the other a
sheepish smile. "I fell in the lake," said the
youthful goddess. "... twice, actually." She
sounded almost proud.
"Stop struggling you conceited idiot! You’re only making it worse!" She quiets hissed at the beautiful boy.
How had they ever end up in this situation? Not even thirty minutes before, the two had been, somewhat, happily, walking towards a clearing in the Forrest. Apparently someone had told Narcissus that it was the best place to gather herbs. Why he couldn’t have just picked them himself..well, she wouldn’t deny it. March had just rolled in and Persephone was just a tad excited to explore the world above ground. Hell, she’d been underground for six months, who could blame her?
"Oh, apologies to the Queen.” The boy grunted, as he tried, in vain, to free one of his hands from it’s binding." Forgive me if I’m not used to being kidnapped!"
"Excuse-you?" Persephone scoffed. It wasn’t like she’d wanted her life to go the way it had, it was simply the way that fate had fallen onto her plate. What an arrogant little pr-
"You heard me." He grumbled.
"Oh please, this is all your fault anyways. We wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for you!"
"For me?!”
"Yes you! you couldn’t have just left that old woman alone, you just had to go and bother her. Can’t you be nice fore once?”
“Nice? You expect me to be nice to someone who chained us together and stuck us over a boiling pot of water like we’re pieces of meat?!” Ridiculous! Couldn’t Persephone see that they were nothing but damsels if they choose to stay in that spot? Just because their captor had mentioned release for good behavior, didn’t she was going to release them. In fact, Narcissus was almost sure, that she meant the opposite. “And for the record I was being nice! Charming, in fact!”
Persephone found herself, deeply, rolling her eyes at the other’s words. He was such a drama queen. “I find that so hard to believe, there was no reason for you to set her herbs on fire!”
"…..poison??”
"Ugh, remind me to never go anywhere alone with you again."
“Hey, I make very a good com-
Narcissus was suddenly interrupted by a croaky old voice. "What’s this about my pretty little bird trying to escape?"
The two damsels tensed up as a small shadow snaked it’s way across the opposite wall. With each passing second, it twisted and expanded, mimicking the silhouette of an crooked little thing. A witch.
A terribly high pitched shriek echoed through the cave.
—————————————————10 minutes later
“Wooow….” Persephone remarked, as she removed the last of the restraints on her wrists. She dusted her hands on her toga as she examined Narcissus’s sleeping figure.
"I know. It’s really embracing isn’t it? You almost want to feel sorry for the idiot.” All it took for the beauty to fade into unconsciousness was one ear splitting scream. Originally, there had been more in store for the boy, but the deity supposed they’d have to save it for another time.”Almost.”
"Well, I guess not everyone is as perfect as they might think. Even the most ‘perfect' of perfect.” The girl mused with a tiny smile. “So, what are you planning on doing with him?”
"Well…you know I’ve been looking for a new bus boy..maybe I’ll put him to good use." The figure tilted their head, lightly pushing the fallen youth’s face with the tip of their shoe. "Hmm…Kore, do you think I was wrong earlier?"
"Wrong? Not really, I mean he’s an ass. He had it coming." Persephone gave a little shrug, watching the other curiously.
“No, no. I mean, he doesn’t look like a bird at all, does he?” A devious little grin graced the individual’s face. “He’s got the makings of a pompous little poodle.” The titan tilted her face, watching the unconscious figure with a predatory gaze. “
"I think, this obsession with dogs is starting starting to get a little bit weird Hekate. If you really want to play with Cerberus, I won’t stop you. But you should know that the head on the far left has a bit of a temper." She laughed. " Anyways, there’s a certain museum that I’ve been wanting to see. Apparently they've put up a new Persephone exhibit . They said it’s really good, but I think I’ll have to be the judge of that.”
Okay so this Persephone is so sweet! We haven’t gotten the chance to interact into detail just yet, but already I absolutely adore this writer and their muse, not to mention the fc is so cute. I’m a fangirl already and I can go on forever but I adore you and your Persephone. <3

☠☠ Death leaned towards them, grin slowly forming on parted skeletal lips. They were parted, parted for a reason. They were going to let out noise, noise in the form of words and a voice. A voice appeared from those lips to give a piece of advice to the stranger standing before them.
'you're stepping on my shoelace. please get the fuck off of it.'
