I'd just like to say that the opening scene of KNIGHTS OF GUINEVERE speaks to me on a very personal level. I can attest that, yes, rich kids are like that.

While overseas I had to go to private schools, & they DO, in fact, see other people as toys, & if they're not perfect, they must be "fixed."

And, naturally, their equally wealthy parents are totally fine with it. They, too, see others as disposable if they can't be an asset in their business or in maintaining their legacy.

Was I THIS close to trying on items to potentially throw together a Flower inspired bound solely to take pictures in Haunted Mansion Parlor when I was shopping the other day…perhaps….

I have mentioned this before, but it's odd how Rob Zombie neè Robert Bartleh Cummings, went from this stream of consciousness dark carnival horror show lyrical style (which peaked with 'La Sexcorcisto') to the absolutely mediocre and drab content of his solo work, as well as making some of the most underwhelming 'horror' movies I've ever seen.

It's...odd.

White Zombie started out noise rock, almost avant-garde, tightened up for "Soul Crusher", got sludgy around "Make Them Die Slowly", then went groove metal with some incredible lyrics. Seriously. Even if you don't like the music, read the lyrics for "Welcome to Planet Motherfucker/Psychoholic Slag", "Grindhouse A Go Go" "Thrust" and "Starface". They feel stream of consciousness but keep a theme and paint vivid imagery.

How you write that and then become absolutely mediocre and bland I just don't know.

Finally finished Faceoff and here are my thoughts no one asked for

Overall I enjoyed it, but definitely felt lacking/geared towards people who don't follow hockey

Do we think the Bruins front office watched it and then were like all of this aged terribly we need to sign Sway NOW?

Felt like every time they touched on something interesting they didn't dig deeper, surface level across the board

Could have used a either a few more eps or followed less players or both

As someone who follows the league pretty intensely I don't think I learned anything about players that I haven't previously learned here on tumblr

Did love seeing more of Connor's personality, and that they really talked about the pressure he's faced since childhood

I would love someone to do a "Fuck" counter throughout the series because it's really the star of the show

Having a whole episode with the narrative of they're so tough and play through anything was ick, toughness is part of why we love the game but not at the cost of players' health and we need to change that mindset being okay

Matthew was the star we all predicted but also how dare they source all that childhood footage but show us only like 10 seconds

But also the medical team talking about how the let him play anyway with the broken sternum and because that was team culture made me a little sick

The editing of the juxtaposition between winning and losing the cup was probably the most powerful part, I thought that was really well done and they should have ended it there without the silly little recap thing afterwards (or shown that during the credits)

So I’m writing another post-canon au fic for The Good Fight that takes place in France (with Carmen, Jay and Marissa visiting Kurt and Diane) since Queen Christine Baranski said in an interview (can’t remember which one) that Kurt and Diane were “in France...sipping Chablis”, and I’d like to imagine that the work children would visit them from time to time, so I have travel and tourist site tabs up and I’m noting down where I’d like the trio to go in-between their time with Diane and Kurt, which means that I am pretty much planning a whole ass vacation for fictional characters...
