One of my favorite Zach encounters is when Zach was being honored in Provincetown and Zach and Miles loaded Noah and Skunk (this was pre-Rocco) into the car and drove from NYC to Provincetown for the festivities. This is roughly 5 hours. Now, I know that my dogs together in a car for 5 hours would not be fun. So I asked Zach how the dogs did in the car and if they were good. Zach said, “they did great. they were very good.” This whole time, Miles is standing just to the side and behind Zach, shaking his head vigorously and mouthing “no” at me. I laughed, Zach turned to Miles, and Miles said, “Well, Noah was good but…”

And that was the first time I met Miles. Instantly endeared himself to me :)

Last night I woke up because I heard a dog growl in my ear. I don't have any pets. I've had Exploding Head Syndrome many times so I assumed it was that. I don't usually scare easily. I started to fall back to sleep but then I heard a string on my electric guitar snap. It made me jump but I tried to ignore it. I put a YouTube video on my phone to make me sleep and saw it was 3am exactly. I don't think I need to explain the significance of 3am. This morning I checked my guitar this morning and every single string has snapped at the same time at 3am with no one touching it. I hadn't played it for a couple of days and there was nothing wrong with the strings. There is probably a scientific explanation, I just thought it was a little spooky.
