2023 has been an absolute shit lord of a year for me, it's just 2016 with a new hat. Really dried up any creativity I had in the cabinet.

However! I did join a DND group so meet Solana Silversea; my half-elf fighter and pirate captain. (If you recall a certain hylian design from back in the day yes I revamped her and claimed her as a personal OC at this point.)

Group shot is her back-story half-elf pirate crew. Great exercise for designing various faces and trying to give them personality while not actively getting too invested. I will...most likely invest interest in all of them regardless.

I’ve been reading Witch Hat Atelier and listening to The Amazing Devil and finally inspiration struck to draw Julia and @turianmailman‘s Sinx. This was specifically inspired by book 4 of Witch Hat Atelier and the ink skin/tattoo spell that was used on poor Euini for Sinx's figure here.

Since there’s a bit of time before the next mlb episode I can finally turn my attention back to my oc Julia for a moment. (Getting stuck on one character in a show can be fun...when they have an actual backstory for me to research obsessively. And Nathalie has 0%. Boo.)

If I had the time and energy I would love to throw my gal here into a dnd campaign. She’d likely be a sorcerer? I guess?? She’s a witch in the story she actually yields from; wields cleansing magic that allows her to see deeper into the mystery that is @turianmailman‘s Sinx.

Julia’s one of my longest standing oc’s. Surviving high school and college it feels good when I can sit down and hammer out her design.
