I voted Dem straight down the ballot and I don’t fucking regret it and it’s fucking unfortunate that we got stuck with that orange sack of fucking💩.

I view myself as an Antifascist. What does that mean? It means I’m against fascism. What’s fascism? Fascism a far right political identity and mass movement with the characteristics of militarized nationalism, contempt for electoral democracy & cultural liberalism, AND the desire to create a “people’s community”, in which to individual interests would be subordinated to the good of the nation.

I would like to deliver my political and social stance.

Your choices, your beliefs, your way of life is yours and yours only. Everything you do is your life. Everyone choice you make, IS your life.

The government taking away a choice is taking your life and your future. Your life could be in jeopardy. Your future could be stripped from you. Your entire reason for being can here in the states can be torn from your hands. And you don’t even have a say in the matter. Even if you think it doesn’t affect you, it does. Because America, and even the world, is one giantic web.

Suddenly, clinics are going to be flooded with scared woman and nurses are going to need more supplies. How are they gonna do that without raising eyebrows? How are they gonna help women without the state of Alabama realizing that’s what’s happening? What are we gonna do when they do realize it? Others states, including ones in the Deep South, like Georgia and Louisiana, have a high chance of following suit. This is terrifying for me. I live in the south west. I am not completely out of this ring.

Now, it’s not because all men in the Alabamian government are cruel. Because truthfully, there are some good men in office but, they highly uneducated. The state of Alabama ranked 50th in education. Fucking 50th. They are doing this because they were raised, taught and sent out into the world with barely any education and racist and misogynistic beliefs.

It is time that we rise up and start fixing this issue, because this will only get worse. Saying things about the topic and spreading the word, does as much good as defending a person whose crime was caught on camera. It is time we as Americans take action. We were built on the foundation that we all could make our own choices.

Let’s take the choice back.

my main ship will be LPCN (#1) and MMCEmp+DECBS follows (but for DE I still prefer to pair him with Ciel). I can tolerate LPCEmp, MMCBS and MMCN if the art is really good (most of LPCEmp’s arts are good after alll hhhhhh <3), but I can’t ship DECN. There’s just something in the ship that bugs me :\ maybe because I see CN as a sado queen and that won’t fit the flangst™ trope for DE /shot/

I (like most of us) have thoughts about Brent Seabrook's hit on David Backes...And the commentary that has followed.

Some things to get out of the way: Seabrook doesn't have a history of suspension and terribly dirty hits . You may not like him, or his team, but the Blackhawks are basically at the bottom of the league in terms of dirty and illegal plays. Perhaps you think that they get away with things more than every other team (newsflash: someone has that opinion about your team too) but a few weeks ago, there was an outraged cry from the masses because they didn't deliver enough hits, fights, and brutality and are therefore "soft". Pot, meet kettle. chat about how you want to have your cake and eat it too.

That hit was brutal. I pretty much despise Backes (unless he's holding a puppy) and my heart was in my throat watching him try to stand...it was sickening and terrifying. I have a lot of feelings about how Backes plays, how he's not someone I admire. My lip curls with distaste when I say his name. I am hella biased against him. I'll own all of that, so that when I say how terrified I was for him after Seabs's hit, you all know that it's no small thing that I was truly alarmed for him.

Seabs did a stupid, shitty thing in that hit. He delivered a check late, and Backes didn't have the puck. It's possible that Seabrook didn't realize this, so let's not get hung up on it, but the reality is that he shouldn't have made the hit. That said, he aimed for the shoulder before the head, checked from the front, and didn't leave his feet. to reiterate: He did some bad things deserving of a call and a brief suspension, but not ALL of the bad things that the armchair refs have been throwing out there. 

To me, this puts the hit into the category of "stupid bad" not "assassination attempt bad".

The suspension is warranted, I agree. I think two games might have been the more appropriate decision, but I can accept three. Mostly.

tl:dr-- I like Seabs, don't like Backes, but the hit was not a good decision and a suspension is warranted.
