bee hive #3 has been looking iffy. it's the hive we put the swarm (#1 swarmed a couple weeks ago) into, and we haven't seen a lot of activity going in and out unlike hive 1 (original, swam came from there, queen left with swarm (leaning behind many queen cells), very strong, we even split it after the swarm), hive 2 (we split it off of 1 in ¿March or April?, and hive 4 (last split from hive 1)

we've had syrup on 1&3&4 because they're smol but 3, the hive in question, hasn't touched the syrup

ok so that's the background

earlier I monkeyed with the frames because I figured a frame was blocking bee access to the syrup

this evening I see the syrup bottle suddenly empty so i'm concerned, did it simply drain through? so i open the top, look in, and i see some bees just sitting there (there are many bees but this one spot of about 15 wasn't moving) and I wondered, are they alive?

and immediately found The Thing Nobody Should Have To Tell You:

I have been complaining all day about how bad my throat and chest hurt and it’s just now at 9:30 at night that I remembered I didn’t take my acid reflux medicine this morning and all my suffering has been because I forgot to take it so I just now took one and god I hope it will make this go away quickly I forgot how bad my acid reflux is.

I really need to catch up on homework and start studying but I've been a depressed mess all day. I hate finals week.

I am so fucking done with myself.  I feel like I’m an absolutely awful and disgusting human being most of the time as it stands, but am also then overly sensitive and stupid and start panicking at the smallest things.   I am having a harder and harder time keeping track of things for school and work because I’m just so frazzled all the time. I’m absolutely terrified that my current state will fuck up things at my job or during my final semester.  I don’t know what I’ll do if I don’t graduate on time.   I can’t sleep because when I lay in bed it just turns into hours of me thinking about how much of a shit human I am and how much people should hate me because I’m pathetic, and weak, and I feel awful.  I know I need to learn to love myself. I need to. Or at least to accept myself. But I don’t trust my own perception of myself at all. I’m so scared I’ll turn into a manipulative and passive-aggressive bitch (if I’m not one already) and will be awful and hurt people who I love.  I’m so scared.  I’m scared I’ll be rejected by loved ones, but I also that part of my brain feels like they should reject me. . .  that people would be right to reject me.  I know I should get professional help, but I’m struggling to find a resource that I can afford.  I shouldn’t complain. I feel pathetic and self-centered. I have it so much better than a lot of other people.
