Okay, this is weird.

I am a bookmark addict.  I have thousands of them, going back several years.  

Between my Chromebook and my Mac’s Firefox and Chrome, I use Xmarks to sync my bookmarks.  It’s worked fine for ages (though I wish it had a tagging system).  

But tonight I went to put a new bookmark in my Jupiter Ascending folder...and it wasn’t there.  

I’m not sure how much went missing; seems to be mostly folders and their contents rather than unorganized bookmarks, though it’s hard to be sure.  I had to shut off my wifi and download the bookmarks from my Mac’s Chrome to be sure I had ‘em all.  

I have no idea why this happened.  Or even when, though it can’t have been that long ago.  And if it happened once...
