Instagram and Facebook are so damn superficial. I just came back from a 5-month hiatus and it all became an anxiety fest real quick.
People have a certain kind of prejudice against tumblr and its users, but I find it the most liberating social media platform since I started 7 years ago, I am able to express myself all without having to prove my worth.
On an unrelated note, I stopped my interaction with a particular person whom I used to regard as a good friend. I used to be the one who initiated conversations and tried to provide comfort when she was down, until I realise I was just a side friend because she needed my company. I’m glad to get rid of the baggage though. Being friends with someone who is absorbed with celebrities is tiring if you don’t share the same interest. Get this, real friendships shouldn’t be draining, exhausting and demanding continuous effort solely from you. I still remember her sarcastically using a sincere advice I gave her against me at one point, just because I told her some things weren’t just the way we wanted them to be.
Anyway, I appreciate tumblr. It’s a safe house for me.
Okay okay okay.... so I originally drew this on paper. Then decided to take a picture of it and put it on Procreate so I could add color.

Man. Oh man. Now I'm conflicted.
Going back to school this Spring, couldn't be more excited than anything at this particular moment. Good news and good vibes only!
Anyone who is ever doubting themselves on completing a goal or trying to push forward with their life.... DON'T EVER DOUBT YOURSELF. Keep going. Results are truly a slow process. If you really want it, you can make it happen.
