I really don't know why I love the Third Doctor's era so much

the stories are mostly good, and there's some underrated gems there (The Mutants is good AND I WILL FIGHT YOU)

the characters have, I think, the best friendships between the regular cast that Classic Who has presented, aside from the usual Doctor-Companion dynamic

it handles themes (relevant at the time and now) pretty well, like in Colony in Space or The Green Death

but I still don't know why it resonates so much with me

oh well, I'll talk about it with my therapist I guess... any excuse to talk about Doctor Who

is son of legendary Doctor,
