"Pass the wine, mon ami."
“Get over it.”
Courfeyrac just stared at him for a long moment, mouth hanging partly open in disbelief, and then he simply laughed. It wasn't warm, however, more sardonic, almost bitter, and he turned away from him.
"That your great advice? Yeah, well, you know what, screw you, Grantaire." he said, voice tight. "I should've known better than to tell you."

"I saw you with him." There was a deeply possessive air to the Alpha’s voice as his arms crossed over his chest, his lips pursed in an attempt to smother the jealousy coursing through his veins. And really, he had no right to be jealous. Grantaire wasn’t his. Grantaire was his own person, any link between them be damned. Enjolras wasn’t sure where this came from, but seeing Grantaire seemingly affectionate with Bahorel had driven a spike of jealousy in him.

Jacob looked around the empty street. Or at least if seemed empty at first sight but it could be crawling with walkers for all that he know. He carefully made his way to a house and started to search through it for supplies.
It had been roughly a year since the apocalypse had struck. Jacob hadn’t thought he would survive but there he was, gathering supplies for him and his companion. The two of them hadn’t seem another human being that wasn’t infected for months and they were starting to think maybe they were the only ones left.
He gathered all he could carry before he decided to head back to his companion. He needed to get back before it got dark outside.

Enjolras crinkled his nose, watching Grantaire who was curled up on the window seat in their apartment. “Because its a lovely day,” he retorted. “I thought we could go on a walk.”

Alexandre Enjolras was the editor of a very well known publishing company in New York. He had been working there upon arrival from France, and though he knew his visa would expire soon, he didn't think much of it. Because why would they want to deport him? Enjolras wasn't some criminal. He wasn't doing anything wrong. If anything they should be thanking him for all the hard work he was doing. Enjolras felt that he was doing important work, and it was largely this reason that kept him from meeting with those concerned over his visa status until most recently.
They had called him in to their office, and despite everything Enjolras had done for them, they were telling him he would have to be sent back to France. The blond took a deep breath and let it out again. "You can't just deport me, I've devoted so much time and energy into this company. Who would you get to replace me? No one could put as much time and such good work into it." His temper only flared further when they mentioned they would replace him with the man he had just recently fired. This couldn't be happening. Enjolras's mind was buzzing as he tried to figure out a way for this to not happen.
As he did so, his assistant suddenly appeared, and he glanced the man over for a moment and then an idea took shape. "Well gentlemen, I believe I have something to tell you. Grantaire and I..." And here he tried to subtly gesture for his assistant to come closer to him. "are getting married. Yes, the two of us are getting married. So, as you can see, you will not need to re-hire someone, as I will not be leaving." Enjolras stared at Grantaire, daring him to try to refute him in this important moment.
