I like thinking that sometimes Kim buys pickled stuff, like ginger or onions, with the plan of actually cooking something with those. But Harry just eats all of it and puts the empty jar back inside the fridge with just the pickle juice in it like a little bitch.
“In another mirror world don is a girl with a horse rocinante living on a ranch”
“In another mirror world don has a giant dog named rocinante”
Yeah well in another mirror world don is a broke college student with her beloved fish named rocinante. Yes she comes home to her shitty dorm and feeds hin flakes while telling him about her day. Also yes she has him there against dorm regulations but she will not leave her trusty steed at home.
I feel like this website has lots of goldfish fans. Just a gentle reminder to please research the space needs of pets before you get them. Goldfish get big, can live for quite a few years, and are heavy waste producers so need a stronger filter. Also plecos are usually sold very small like 2 inches and they do not stay that size at all.
We've had Spike, our pleco, for close to 10 years now and it's 10 inches long. Our fancy goldfish Monster we've had for 5, Goldie has been around for nearly 2, and our baby Mosaic we've had for about 3 months.
So please remember that petstores absolutely do not sell only products that are safe for pets. Fish bowls and really pretty much any fish tank under 10 gallons are inhumane unless it's shrimp. I have never seen even bare minimum size enclosures for birds and rodents at petco or petsmart. Wire bar enclosures are not safe for rodents and most of the wheels are dangerous.
I am begging people to please research first before you even look at animals and do not think that just because the petstores are selling it or even recommending it to you that is safe and reasonably sized.
Also fishtanks are very hard to get good photos of.
politely requesting the otocinclus and the betta fish!

(BETTAS YEEESSSSS!!!!)
They are known firstly for their mesmerizing colors and flowy tails.
And secondly for being aggressive, their street name is siamese fighting fish. There are illegal betta fish fights in some countries, just like rooster fights.
The most common pet fish! They can live around 4-5 years in captivity the longest lifespan recorded in captivity is up to 9 years.
Despite what pet stores want you to believe, they like space, the minimum tank space for them is 2.5 gallons.
Males put together will fight aggressively until death but you can put several females together and they won't fight (as much).
The males create bubble nests for the female to lay her eggs on.
Females usually have shorter tails and fins.
They come in an infinite variety of colors and fin shapes!!
I'm sure many of you have or have had bettas, PLEASE tell me all about them!
What do they like to do? Their quirks and personalities!
PLEASE RB PHOTOS OF YOUR BETTAS! I want to see them :D
