It's Rosa!!! Who was 100% caught dustbathing in the garden patch as though there isn't dirt in the chicken area!!

For her crimes she has been returned to the flock to...

Sunbathe with Danny. That will teach her not to do this again!

But seriously THIS CHICKEN IS UNSTOPPABLE. I've clipped her wings, tightened the zap fence lines, moved the fence, and blocked every escape route I can find. Still she escapes.

Her desire for the forbidden snacks knows no bounds. At least Rosa's spoiled so she's easy to get back in.

I have two bantam hens that I love more than anything. You often hear that chickens are basically stupid but I just can’t agree. Take the time to get to know any kind of animal and you’ll realise that measuring intelligence by comparing it to the “human standard” is bullshit. Animals have their own way of apprehending the world that suits their needs. 

That being said from one chicken to another... Mélusine could be construde as a wee bit dull ^^”... but I love her.

INTRODUCING: Domino-Zebra, AKA Dozo (a name could not be decided on so they decided to hyphenate it). She is a specialised breed called a utility layer and should lay less frequently but for much longer.

She has been staying up high so far to avoid Liquorice because Liquorice is EVIL. That being said Dozo is a pecky little shit and my stepmum is low key scared of her 😂
