fun shaped water heaters, heating pads, etc. you can get stuffies, or like little sleeves or whatever for stuff to heat you when you're cramping!!

if it feels more comfortable, you're more than welcome to be padded. and it might be something to consider if other period products are more uncomfortable

get your hands on some regression clothes specifically for when you're on your period. things you don't mind getting stained if you bleed heavily or free bleed. dark colored clothes, stuff with no waistbands, soft materials, baggy clothes, etc.

allow yourself to be fussy. being fussy doesn't make you a bad kiddo or critter. being emotional or upset or overstimulated is really hard and it can be even harder when you're on your period. you are allowed to cry, you are allowed to get frustrated.

lean towards warmer food and drinks, those (at least for me) help a lot with cramps, bloating, discomfort, etc. they help relax the muscles. warm tea, warm milk, soup, hot noodles, etc. if you're a baby regressor this might be the perfect time to have a warm bottle

preparing before a period can also be useful. washing laundry, changing sheets, food-prepping, etc. this can be easier if you have a caregiver who can help, but you're still a valid regressor if you have to do it yourself. you can also pretend like your fcg is doing it all to help you!

Here's a list of my favorite deer plushies that I have that kinda help me with regression!! In order with manufacturer names just in case: Douglas Cuddle Toys Delila Fawn, Living Nature Lying Down Fawn, Manhattan Toy Company Emmie Fawn, and the Laying Down Deer Warmie! They're all so cute and I love them all bunches X]

Are petre and kin different from each other or are they the same thing hut in like different flavours (idk if this is a rude question sorry)

It's not rude ^^

So pet regression is like age regression (reverting your mindset to a younger one to cope) but instead of age it's a pet/animal you choose to change your mindset too.

Personally my pet regressions are very short.

Kins, specifically my animals kins, are simply things I identity as and see myself as, mostly regonizing myself when I see an animal or character that I identity myself as. Kins have shifts, rather than slips (slipping into a mindset) think of it like shifting your reality/perspective, really getting in tune with your kin

As an example;

Petre: "my mindset changes temporarily to an animal"

Kin/therian: "I constantly identify as this being and can have shifts as that animal"
