So, Petbe is the actual God of Vengeance in Egyptian Mythology. It was never Khonshu.

So in my MCU Moon Knight headcannon.

I theorize that Khonshu was able to take Petbe's title as the God of Vengeance. How do you ask? By playing senet and tricking Petbe to give Khonshu his secret name.

By giving his secret name, Petbe is now a subordinate and servant of Khonshu. Khonshu them demands that Petbe hand over the title as God of Vengeance to him. So Khonshu is now the God of the Moon and Vengeance.

This is based on the myth of how Isis tricked Ra to giving his secret name to the Goddess. Therefore Ra is now a subordinate of Isis and must obey her. Isis use it to get Ra to retire and give the throne to her husband Osiris.

Kemetic Deity Exchange 2020: Petbe

I was assigned Petbe for a user on the KFaSS server. There’s not much out there on him, aside from his name, and his general duties as a dealer of revenge and connections to the sky. There was even less imagery. Therefore, I decided to gift the other member, and Petbe, a bit of imagery. I hope it serves them well!

Sahu and the Vindictae clan don't seem to know another way to live after their lives were ruined To them, this seems like the only way.  Anyway, it feels good...kinda They don't have anywhere else to go...  They only have each other.  Why would they leave?
