#Best Medicine#Martin Best#Peter Cronk#EMOTIONAL SUPPORT GOOD BOY#i imagine Martin and Peter being in a Dunk and Egg situation#where his mom visits Martin one day and thanks him for letting Peter hang out in the clinic#and Martin's all EXCUSE ME#and Peter's mom goes on about how he looks forward to having things to do and maybe he's borrowing some medical books in the library#and Martin almost tells her that the only thing he's ever allowed Peter was to walk the dog#but decides to be better and just agree#and then one day Peter comes in after walking Copernicus and Martin calls him real quick into his office#and Martin gives him some books that maybe are on an easier level for Peter to understand#and just one scene where Peter fell asleep reading and Martin moves him to the couch because it's comfier#and he tells EVERYONE if they make a noise that wakes Peter up consult will be OVER#but everyone smiles knowingly because yeah that's their grumpy doctor who actually really cares about them
