Hot Chocolate
Pairing: Jill Conway/Detective Peter Hood Fandom: Gone (2012)
Story: Detective Hood asks Jill on a coffee date, and she accepts in confusion. Their orders end up kind of strange. Part 2 of ?.
Part One: Coffee
When the police car comes rolling up to the house, her sister almost had a heart attack and stared at her, silently asking ‘what the hell did you do now?’ Jill can’t help laughing at her and growing a mischievous grin.
“I called the cops about your boyfriend. I decided I don’t like him after all.”
“Jill!”
“I’m kidding. It’s that one detective. The one I told you about? The young guy that turned out actually believed me and was trying to really help out? Yeah –it was strange. He came around yesterday, asking if he could take me out to coffee. I said okay for today. Is that good for you?”
Molly sort of stared at her incredulously before it gives way to shock and surprise.
“He…asked you out for coffee?”
Coffee
Pairing: Jill Conway/Detective Peter Hood Fandom: Gone (2012)
Story: Detective Hood asks Jill on a coffee date, and she accepts in confusion. Part 1 of ?.
“Would you go out for coffee with me?”
She actually didn’t expect the request. After the whole thing with Jim McCoy was over and done with finally, she thought it would be the last time she would be dealing with police (frankly, she thought they’d be relieved about that).
So it was a strange sight to find Detective Peter Hood at her doorstep, and asking her out to coffee of all things.
“What? No, thank you,” she replied surely.
She moved to close the door and his hand shot out to stop it, then he moved it back as if scalded and looked at her sheepishly.
“Sorry…Just please. One coffee?” he grinned uncertainly at her.
She raised an eyebrow at him, staring stoically and making him slowly grow nervous.
But…he had actually believed her and had sincerely been trying to help when she’d been trying to find her sister.
“Okay.”
“I swear, one coffee and I won’t bother you ever again –wait, what?” he stopped himself and stared at her.
Her lips twitched upwards slightly. “I said okay. Tomorrow, 12.”
“Great! It’s a date –uh, coffee outing,” he corrected himself, grinning widely. He waved goodbye and jogged away, and she stared thoughtfully after him.
A/n: Yes, I know -I'm insane. Like anyone's actually going to read something from that movie or care about the pairing >.< But I get obsessed...
