My Favourite Princess Switch Movie
Safe to say, Fiona was the star of this movie and she is my favourite Vanessa Hudgens "doppelgänger" in the entire The Princess Switch franchise. So, it's really not a surprise to me that I liked this third movie the most. I liked the addition of Fiona's backstory, it really explained why she's the way she is (though it still does not justify the wrongdoings she did). It was also because of her backstory and the fear of feeling that made her reunion with her mother all the more touching. Personally, I would have liked for Bianca to appear more or sooner than just the ending but their reconciliation was still very touching only because I really thought Fiona was never going to forgive her mother. I am a family-oriented person and so family plot lines have a special place in my heart, especially one like Fiona and Bianca's.
Apart from that, I also liked Peter's addition into this movie. He's by far my favourite doppelgänger love interest. Though his character was slightly exaggerated, Peter was the most interesting men out of all three love interests. Moreover, his relationship with Fiona made the most sense. It wasn't love at first sight, nor was it love after a few days. I'm not saying there's no such thing as love at first sight or nobody falls in love after only a few days of knowing each other. I do believe that is possible, but what Fiona and Peter have, it's what us normal human beings encounter more. It brought a new kind of fluffly feeling to watching The Princess Switch.
Don't watch The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star for it's plot and you will find yourself enjoying it more than you expect. Though, be warned, it's weird seeing Hudgens kiss so many different men in this movie.
