***Zombies, Run! Season 5 spoilers***
Okay so I ran another mission today yeah? Changes. Got to run with Peter again, had a bit of a laugh at the beginning when Janine says to make sure the Ex Moor Militia jacket is clearly visible at all times and I *had* dressed in my bright yellow jacket today because it was cold/for visibility so I really felt the part 😂 And I didn’t mind running with Peter? He seems really fun, if a little chaotic 😂 I honestly think it was the Neverwhere reference that won me over, it got a genuine smile out of me.
B u t. He has been to New Canton before, he knows Jody likes knitting, and Sam likes D&D. He seems to know Janine’s personality. The “I don’t put people at risk anymore” line made me emotional. The ice cream tower line gave Sam such pause, there’s def something up. Also??? He got?? Shot??? And they said there was a lot of blood but then he says “look, its only a scratch” and I couldn’t help but think that the other person we’ve seen demonstrate healing powers like that was Van Ark, which is *concerning*. But he can’t look like Van Ark or we’d have noticed, right? But there was this moment while I was running where I swear for a minute his voice sounded familiar, like someone I couldn’t place, and it’s been driving me insane because I relistened to the clips and now I can’t find it 😅 so I’ll just be over here with my red string board trying to figure out where we met this guy before because there is no way on earth he just got all this stuff from a “ministry report” on us. No way. So brb gonna go scour and make a list of minor characters we’ve met in the past four seasons 😂 I think the run tomorrow has him in it again and I’m hoping for more hints at how he knows us, I was so mad when Sam had to change the subject when he got the message about the fuel extraction 😂 Like no, keep asking questions, *I* want to ask questions. But I’m swayed maybe. I think I do like him, especially after the letter he gives Five at the end with the gifts 🥺
