Argumentorum ad Odium
A Collection of Important Insights regarding logic and rhetoric gleaned from a Jordan Peterson fan on Twitter:
The Transitive Property is Unempirical, Illogical Junk; that A=C if A=B and B=C is Subjective Nonsense based on Irrational Assumptions with no basis in Physical Reality. Math is a Useless Lie which has No Meaning.
Calling someone “Insane” doesn’t count if you later say you didn’t say that
And Anyway, Insane isn’t even mean or hurtful or insulting. It Could be used to mean absurd or extreme, which are two words that are certainly NEVER used in the English language to discredit an argument.
Shutup; I can’t hear you; my fingers are in my ears; if your words can’t reach my brain that means you never said them and they mean nothing; yes I know you’re typing and this can’t really stop me from reading them as I don’t see through my ears; shutup yet again; shut up because I Am Right, dammit.
I’m not Pedantic, you’re Pedantic. Shutup. This shit is IRONCLAD
Dragons are Real because they’re Not.
Words are a Useless Lie which have No Meaning.
Flaws in an argument don’t matter if you point them out without listening to the whole argument, which somehow magically makes those flaws disappear, because that’s how ideas work. The End Justifies the Means.
When someone makes one argument, then immediately contradicts that argument, that doesn’t mean they’ve contradicted themselves but rather than their argument has synthesized the contradiction seamlessly, rendering it perfect and unassailable.
What Contradiction; You’re a Contradiction. Shutup. This shit is IRONCLAD
Pointing out such a contradiction is NOT proof that the argument is flawed and self-defeating, but REALLY proof of how close-minded one is, whereas refusing to admit a contradiction exists, undermining the argument which flatters one’s biases as one has admitted, is proof of how open-minded one is.
I’m not a Hypocrite, you’re a Hypocrite. Shutup. This shit is IRONCLAD
Being Angry is not proof that one is Angry.
Being Angry is really proof of how bad one’s interlocutor’s arguments are, and how much Fun one is having online. Constant spelling errors, insults, and yelling are The Proofs of Fun.
Angry People tell jokes and express concern for the emotional state of their interlocutors. These are The Proofs of Anger.
Metaphors are arguments and refute Everything.
Refusing to respond to an argument is the same as refuting it, and allows you to repeat the arguments while ignoring their refutations.
Memes are arguments and refute Everything.
Speilling is Grammer.(Author’s Note: these typos are intentional and For Effect u_u)
Dependent and related clauses neither Depend Upon, nor are Related To, each other in regards to meaning. Grammar is a Useless Lie which has No Meaning.
Quotes are never used to mark paraphrasing, or to signal a specific concept or aspects of an argument such as “what a person says” and “what a person says about what they said”.
Insults are arguments and refute Everything.
How a person describes their arguments is the same thing as their actual arguments, which mean whatever they say they mean, at any moment, even if that contradicts their previous or larger arguments, independent of definition and context. This is how people who respect Order and Logic and The Masculine think.
I think that covers most of it. I hope all you Dear Readers digest this Timeless Wisdom in the fashion it so obviously deserves u_u u_u
