what’s a petition spell?
Basically, it's a spell written on a piece of paper. They're kind of similar to a sigil, in the way that they're a concept made into a physical thing. And similar to a sigil, they can be used in conjunction with another spell, or alone. They can be fed energy from any source, worked with a spirit or deity, or just exist to put your will out into the universe. Like most magic, there's a lot of different ways to do them depending on your goals, any traditions you may follow, etc.
