The Paragaliding Accuracy World Cup 2015 is on the way!!

As of March 26, 2015 40 plus competng pilots out of the 67 registered to compete have arrived in Maasim,Sarangani to participate in the opening of the event.. on hand towelcome the pilots were Governor Steve Solon and the rest of the LGU units and local Department of Tourism board.

The welcome dinner was held in Sarangan Highlands.. Each countries participating pilots were welcomed and presented with tokens native to Sarangani Province with a performance of the local dancers as the highlight of the night.

A total of 12 countries will be represented by pilots that have flown from different parts of the world to participate in the 1st ever World Cup for Accuracy in Paragliding to be held in the Municipality of Maasim in Sarangani Province. Noticeably, a number of pilots that participated in the IPAC 2014 came back to fly for the PGAWC 2015.

This event was made possible with the support of private companies like Globe Telecom, Pioneer Insurance, Tribu and The Headware, SM City Gensan and Safi Agro.

For those in General Santos that want to visit the flysite at Safi Ranch during the event you can get a ride from SM City General Santos for only 30 pesos.
