Improving on the 'No 'poo' shampoo recipes Your scalp pH ranges between 4 and 7

pH Balanced Home-made Shampoo

1 can coconut milk

1 3/4 cup pure aloe vera gel

essential oils (optional)

Whisk Freeze in ice-cube trays Remove a cube from the freezer, at least 12hrs prior, so that the mixture is liquid (shelf life in the fridge is about 1 week) Use the same amount as you normally would, but please note that this Shampoo will not lather!

See what works for you! It may take a few washes for you to get used to:

Conditioning- optional, see whether you need it or not!

Dry Hair- try adding sweet almond oil, jojoba oil or vitamin E oil to the mix.

If your scalp naturally tends towards a pH of 4, try adding some apple cider vinegar.
