An official entry to the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival, it tells the true story of Andres Bonifacio, a man who rose as a leader in the fight against the Spanish oppressors, and who would gain the enmity even of those fighting for the same cause as he. (x)
PS: I intentionally omitted Indio in the list, all because the said TV series is more of a fantaserye than a historical one, and it seems that Andres Bonifacio is a minor role there. Also, I decided to use the year of death of Andoy because I find it more appropriate.
