hello… i’m sorry phule nation .. as self proclaimed big and Greedy phule CEO … i cannot Believe i am late. i cannot believe i left tumblr with no real april first post… (jk of course i can believe it im horrible with deadlines and ultimatums)
i guess that doesn’t matter when this is HIS MONTH. when this is HIS LIFETIME!!! but it’s just a little ridiculous cause i neglected posting under the impression i was gonna tweak a whole Bunch of stuff. and then. i never ended up. touching anything LOL. sue me man this is old and i've been wanting to move on to other things. give me my did it bored star i did it bored. that doomed it. that is OKAY.
whatever. as i always say, the passage of time is fleeting, but PHULE is forever. i will never forget that. if you think about it, it’s kind of fitting to pull the april phools card on a day that is not april phools. canonically phule goes around all april being more devious than usual. and no one can do anything about it because he’s just a little birthday boy. he’s a little birthday boy for the Entire month of april. like “what do you mean it’s not april fools. i haven’t stopped being phule” and he’s right. that’s phrincess. that’s my phrincess of the spiral right there. i will white knight ride or DIE for him. in a way he is very jesus like
i’d do things very differently if i started this project now, but i still like what i brainstormed in relation to him and the fool card. might revisit it one day along with my concepts for an Entire pirate101 based deck. i already have stuff written out and drawn for bishop (of course.) that could see the light of day now that i have a frame (sortttttttt of) out of the way. but (x2) i make No promises. i am once again begging for additional arms to create with.
please take my deranged notes explaining details of the piece in the form of screenshots because i CANT be asked to type these thoughts into barely coherent tumblr babble. thank you.
and there you go !! congratulations!!! you've endured another love letter to phule pirate101 (almost. post isn't done yet). basically... phule best character. and basically. he’s already a pseudo-companion. who assists the pirate mechanically in their journey Backstage. he changes alongside the pirate’s quest. that totally happens off screen as he follows them. phule pirate101 confirmed ally . phule companion is canon Yup. i will always subscribe to him officially joining the crew just to sit on your ship and not participate in battle. the feature is imminent Yup. he knows the way to el dorado for sure Yup. kingsisle get on this.
please give him a gun he can fire at random from the back of the ship. let there be a risk he’ll hit the player for Fun. because i think that’s funny. Yup.
forever praying my skills will one day match my Disgustingly large obsession for him. just you wait. it Might just happen.
i'm risking animation at the moment to make him into some twitch emotes. so maybe wish me luck on that first. i might not come out of my projects list Alive y'all. take a wip just in case.
like it’s even gotten nice enough for me to be doing my clay stuff outside on the regular again. there is so much phart to make and so little time to make it.
although i like listening to cure for pain by morphine while working on this little dude. this song fits the theme of this post a little better. it’s always a battle to choose the most appropriate phule song
hashtag phule core. thank you for reading as always <3 hashtag. annoying aphril !
HELLO idk how well this will do on Tumblr.. But i've recently attempted to summarize the ARG that Machine Girl made alongside the production of MG Ultra and Psychowarrior.
Here's that. I will let it speak for itself from here on!
INTRODUCTION HELLO ALL. I am intending for this to be a semi-detailed, chronological documentation of Machine Girls MG Ultra / Psychowarrior
This is Phae'daernar Auvryndar (Phae for short), she's a War Cleric of Lolth currently searching for her older sister Talesril who fled Menzoberranzan. Talesril has her own story, becoming an Eilistraee cleric, fleeing Menzoberranzan, and finding the Promenade under Waterdeep. Phae will not find her for quite some time, if ever, but in the meantime, there's all this Absolute business to deal with, so might as well
Going into this run, I have more of an idea for what I wanna do with her and the companions. This is definitely an evil run, with Phae encouraging the others to seek and take power where they can, especially from the weak/unworthy.
Hey all, here's a brief (ok never mind it is a lot longer now that I'm looking at it in an actual post) overview of the personalities of the major characters in my main two WIPs. Hopefully this will help to give y'all a better idea of my ocs so my posts aren't complete nonsense.
Nameless
Yue: Yue is a silent and off-putting individual. They seldom speak, preferring to communicate nonverbally, if at all, making even their most subtle expression or movement communicate more than most people say with a dozen words, at least to those who know how to read them. Yue prefers to observe, generally impassive enough that one wouldn't notice they were in the room if not for the unsettling presence that surrounds them, akin to the feeling of being watched and followed, making them an ever-noticeable presence wherever they go. Yue's stoic, taciturn demeanor fractures in an instant when those close to them are threatened, turning from impassive to murderous in the blink of an eye. When they get like this, Ran is the only one who can calm them down.
Ran: Ran is the counterpoint to his sibling, expressive and friendly, the loudest personality in any given room. His charismatic personality and friendly demeanor make him a natural leader, though he isn't very comfortable in a leadership role, as he has always followed Yue and relied on them to give direction. Ran is singly devoted to his sibling; while it is difficult for anyone to get on his nerves (aside, of course, from Yue, for which it is as easy as breathing) messing with or threatening Yue is a surefire way to have Ran at your throat. Ran carries a sort of blind reverence for Yue, something they have much guilt and regret around.
Kami: Kami is an assertive personality. Ky won't hesitate to voice kyr thoughts, though they often spend too long parsing them in kyr head, resulting in blurting out after the moment has passed. Kami is inherently curious, as well as rather stubborn, causing interactions with kym to become relentless if ky want to know something. Despite this curiosity and stubbornness, ky are willing to play the long game, and won't burn bridges if ky can't get what they want immediately. The most levelheaded of Nameless's main cast, ky are averse to conflict and tend to be the one trying to calm the others down.
Caena: Where Yue's presence is noticeable as a sort of ever-present background noise, Caena's is large and captivating, as is her person. She tends to be more on the stoic side, but her presence commands respect and reverence. She is incredibly aggressive (her name literally translates to "wrath") and maintains her air of stoicism mostly out of an understanding that it is incredibly easy to irritate her, and it's best for everyone if that does not happen. Caena is incredibly antisocial to any but her closest friends, absolutely despising interacting with new people, though she occasionally will take a fascination with certain people (as you do when you're an aeons-old celestial being) at which point her aggressive disdain flips into aggressive interest, becoming almost smotheringly social in a way that is just as, if not more, off-putting than her usual personality.
Phae: Phae is, as she would put it, 'the only normal one' in the group. She is much more well-adjusted and socially adept than the others: more approachable than Yue or Caena without being as overwhelmingly friendly as Ran can often be. Phae is incredibly selfless and is loyal to those close to her to a fault protecting them from any perceived threat or slight, no matter the severity or whether it's wanted. This often works to her detriment, as, despite her ferocity and undying loyalty, her closest circle of friends happens to be composed mostly of beings who are immensely powerful while Phae is fully mortal with no magic or supernatural abilities to speak of. However, Phae's intense loyalty is returned by that inner circle, meaning anyone who messes with her will end up on the receiving end of the wrath of 1-3 very angry people ranging from semi-mythical to basically a god.
Atomic Number 51
Violet: Violet has a quiet, relatively unassuming personality, contrasted with her almost over-the-top goth appearance. She is on the shyer side and will seldom initiate conversation, seeking a way out of most social interactions as soon as she's dragged into them. Violet's introverted personality pivots as soon as she is alone with her friends (all two of them; see below), becoming much more relaxed and witty, quick to make snarky comments and snide remarks. This side of her also comes forth when she channels magic, especially when she transforms under the effects of blood magic into a horror movie monster. While she typically appears in public as a socially awkward goth girl, she has a reputation as a powerful witch, and though no one would be able to put a name to the reputation, it is well known among the shadier side of the extramortal community that Sadie Lacrima has a friend that no one sees and lives unless they've fucked up bad.
Antimony: Antimony is outgoing, albeit in a bit of a closed off sort of way; she makes acquaintances, not friends. A lot of her 'relationships' are professional in nature and her many romantic flings before Violet have never lasted very long. To those acquaintances, Antimony is a sturdy, reliable figure—kind and willing to help out if you need it. That reliability holds twenty times stronger for those few close to her. Contrary to Violet, Antimony's more outgoing public personality slows down when she's in private, becoming very quiet while still being just as supportive. There are very few people Antimony would consider herself close to, and most of them aren't the easiest to reach. As such, she has a lot of difficulties with attachment, often over-protective and smothering to those select few, while also harboring many anxieties around abandonment.
Sadie: Sadie is aggressive and commanding. She expects her reputation to precede her and, in the few cases where it doesn't, she does not hesitate to demonstrate how she earned it. Sadie is the type of person who will tell you exactly how you are going to put the poison she just handed you into your drink and consume it the same way she'd explain how to brew her coffee (in fact, she's probably done both at the same time at some point) and, if you refuse, she will explain exactly how painful your death will be before demonstrating it. Sadie puts zero effort into appearances, often surprising her clients when the infamous Sadie Lacrima turns out to be an unassuming, if a little taller than average, young woman. She understands how to use this to unsettle people and does so at every turn. Sadie is ruthless and manipulative, and even Violet, her only real friend, would warn against getting involved with her in any way.
