NGL, I'd kinda prefer them as an AU/homage to Batman and Robin team versus being adjacent to the Batfam

Ghost-Maker's still a new character in his own right, and giving him a sidekick so early feels like it stunts his growth (and yes, I know Robin only debuted a year after Batman). It almost feels like creators just used Batman as a jump-off platform for Ghost-Maker to have a spinoff. It'd be one thing if they existed as their own superhero team (perhaps from an unrelated label) that served as a homage to the Batman and Robin dynamic, but Ghost-Maker is a confirmed youthful friend/ally/rival to Batman who debuted less than half a decade ago and is a member of the Batfamily. Even if their relationship isn't parallel to Batman and Robin, it just feels weird to have Ghost-Maker pretty much copying Bruce in this regard. I gotta look into "Batman Inc" again, but this felt really weird to do.
