AH Musical

The ending song of the AH Musical is by far one of the greatest gifts Achievement Hunter has ever given us. I have to give a huge shoutout to Jack and Jeremy for really leaning into the Fake AH Crew/GTA V lore (and for, as Jeremy mentioned this morning, looking to the Tumblr community and how we write for and view the Fakes).

This just makes me want a live action Fake AH Crew series even more 😭💚

Here’s an IT thought from bright and early this morning well before I’ve had any coffee... (and it didn’t help that this song was *literally* stuck in my head when I woke up).

Dennis Christopher (Miniseries 1990’s Eddie Kaspbrak) said on Twitter that when he was playing Eddie (or as he puts it “When Eddie was inside me”) the Kate Bush song Running up that Hill was constantly on a loop in his head.

This got me thinking about my favorite cover of the same song, one that I’ve loved for years because it’s a little more...me. That led me to opening up this version of the song in Spotify and finally connecting just how “Eddie” it is with how the band that performs it is named Placebo 💊 What are the odds, right?

It also has more of a modern sound that works for the new James Ransone Eddie from the latest film as well as the OG cinnamon roll, so I guess it all came around full circle in the end. 🎈

Well, I’m gonna go have my caffeine now. Thanks for reading my insomnia fueled musical theory ramble 🎶

I made a shitty meme because...

I love Dennis Christopher and wanted to watch Fade to Black but the only way I could find it was a DVD on Amazon for...$68.52.

Which is what led to this meme being created while trying to convey my great need while also being way too high on caffeine.

I mean, the plot is right up my alley (cinema fanatic who ends up killing people while dressing up as iconic movie characters), and it has one of my favorite actors in it so I *might* have bought it as an early birthday present to myself.

I actually enjoy campy movies so even if it ends up being not the *greatest* of films I’ll still be happy just because he’s in it (not that I won’t judge the heck out of the rest of it).

Now to just patiently wait until December 10th...

RTX 2020 - Cosplay

So as most of my fellow Rooster Teeth fans know, RTX 2020 tickets went on sale for First+ members this morning and will be rolling out to everyone else throughout the week.

This means I have to do a mad dash Cosplay plan for a convention that’s in July 😅

So far, here’s some of the Cosplays I *want* to try to do over the 3 days I’m planning to be there:

🌹 Ruby Rose (obviously)

💚 Female Doctor Oobleck

⁉️ An original RWBY character design or a member of the Fake AH Crew (Most likely Ryan/The Vagabond)

🌹 For Ruby, I already have some main components for her like Crescent Rose and her Cloak so I just need to work on the main outfit/accessories.

💚 Oobleck should be a simple outfit and the wig and thermos are my only main concerns.

⁉️ The original character design for my RWBY character might prove to be tricky and a lot of work since I need to have her weapon ready to go and I’m already packing Crescent Rose so having two full sized weapons and a thermos in my luggage along with my outfits might not be feasible.

⁉️ A Fake AH Crew cosplay might be a little more simple/less time consuming since it’s built out of mainly regular clothes. Making a Vagabond jacket might be a little tough but it shouldn’t be too tricky if I give myself enough time. If I really wanted to I could go as Jack and join the Jack Off 2020 which might be a good backup outfit plan if I can’t make it through everything in time.

So that’s where I am with my RTX planning for now. I’ll be getting my tickets on Wednesday and let’s hope that the level I wanted won’t be sold out by then 😅
