my dear friend Matilda said I was a better Ratchet who didn't hate her and oh boy, that's only the single most validating thing I've ever heard! I couldn't even properly explain how happy I was that she said that. usually when people compare Ratchet and I, its to put me down for... being abused? or only because of Adaptus, not my own inherent personality and characteristics, and especially not the positive ones. being told I'm a good doctor by anyone but myself is a rare occurrence, and one I treasure deeply. I did my best, and I was an exceedingly skilled medic with good bedside manner. yes, I could be abrasive at Delphi, but I did my best in trying to make things work when everything went to shit. I loved my work, and my colleagues.
