I predict that Phasma survived to see episode ix but in the process lost her eye.

We saw that her armor repels blaster fire and electricity. It’s made out of a metal that’s used for spaceship hulls, therefore able to withstand the heat of reentry.

I’m calling it now: Phasma lives.

Phasma not being in TROS was like showing up to a party, and everyone’s there except your best friend. And nobody tells you why she isn’t there. 😢
