(Everyday life) If I had known that with growing up, you have to take care about so many things, I would have told my younger self to study and read and travel as much as possible. Every day, daily tasks are distractions from my work...!
The university paperwork is done, I don’t have to take care about anything any more for the next months. All will be good.
Going to the tax office, because our tax consultant has just completely f-ed up our tax reports for 2014(!) and got that right. Need to take care of 2015 as well asap.
Finally got rid of about 5kg of coins that we gathered the past 3 years. Curious about how much it will be. I don’t trust banks any more. they used to run the coins in front of you and got it directly into your account. Now, they just ahve these plastic bags and tell you they will count it and deposit it on your account in about 4 days. All foreign coins get lost. We used to get them back, too.
Got the book I reserved from the library. The thing about European libraries: They are old-fashioned and most often, technic doesn’t work - at all. I wasted about 1 hour just to get an electronic locker working properly. It was such a pain in the a-.
Reading is the favourite part of my thesis work - I really enjoy it.
I really hope to be done with all writing this summer.
Note to self:
Stop comparing yourelf with others. It’s fine, the pace you are going at - and in ten years, nobody will care. Just do your best, so you don’t have any regrets.
