Yes and no. Mostly no, to be honest. She thought being a cop meant she could maybe get an opportunity to do something meaningful with her life, maybe help kids who were starting to go down the same path she did, or at least put some dirtbags away who were the primary cause of kids going down the same path she did. And she never thought she’d be able to get a job in the state human services department. She should have followed her gut and got a job at a greenhouse.
Mostly what she does is paperwork. She had disciplinary issues back in Great Falls (had trouble controlling her temper woops) and finally they transferred her out to the most podunk department in the state where nothing ever happens and she (probably) couldn’t get into anymore trouble. On strict probationary terms, of course.
8. What’s their first thought when they took the first step in Joseph’s chapel? Alt: What’s their first thought when Joseph announced to go out for the reaping?
She was nervous as fuck. Did you see those fires and those people with guns and the trained attack dogs?? Did you see that fuckin statue?? These guys are serious. This wasn’t just a normal warrant being served and as soon as she stepped into that church she knew something was gonna go wrong.
13. From the GFH/FGH which one they get along with the most?
Grace. Jess is a super close second, but sometimes they’re too similar for their own good and they can really get each other kind of worked up. But Grace has that cool, calm, assertive control that really steadies Di out and kind of demands that she focus and not be so reckless.
14. From the Police department which one they get along with?
Whitehorse. He just emanates that fatherly aura.
15. From Fall’s End which person they get along with?
Jerome. She’s friendly enough with Mary May but Jerome’s just got that personality that commands some respect. He’s the only man of faith in Hope County Diana would actually trust giving a confession to.
16. From The Cougars which one they get along with?
Her and Tracey get along quite well. There’s a mutual take-no-bullshit thing going on that they recognize in each other.
17. From the White Tail militia which one they get along with?
Wheaty and Eli. She actually thinks Wheaty is endearing and kind of envies his youthful vigor and his excitement over finding vinyls that’ll still play. And Eli has gone above and beyond by saving her life and offering her and her friends protection in his bunker. Diana has to respect that.
20. How do they feel about Jacob?
She’s almost as scared of Jacob as she is of Joseph. He’s got this very calm, controlled, mocking personality that drives her absolutely nutty. Not to mention all the unethical shit he’s doing to people.
21. From the Police department which one they DON’T get along?
Her and Joey butt heads a little bit, and they’re not very chummy outside of work. You’d think they’d get along but I dunno 🤷🏻♀️
22. From Fall’s End which person they DON’T get along with?
She’s still mad at Casey for making her get bull testicles.
23. From The Cougars which person they DON’T get along with?
She’s not Virgil’s biggest fan. She thinks he acts more like a simpering high school vice principal than the mayor of a county.

27. How do they feel about all those bunkers laying around?
She really adores getting the chance to spend a night in one because it’s one of the only times she’ll get almost a full night’s sleep and maybe even a shower. Being able to lock a blast-rated door above you really makes you feel safe, you know?

Hopelessly doomed and terribly, terribly free.

Diana and [spoiler] attempt to confront [spoiler]. They have to fight their way through [spoiler] to get to [spoiler] who has made his way to [spoiler]. [Spoiler] is killed outside the [spoiler] just as the [spoiler]. The [spoiler] is [spoiler].
If you mean like, gaining weight and mass from the person eaten or taking them in entirely and getting powers or abilities from them for while they're in there fully? Oh absolutely!
Otherwise, digestion and stuff has to be a mood, but like just taking someone in entirely and such like that? Oooooh, that's good stuff~.
