Now that both my grandparents have passed away, my aunt has started going through their stuff and divvying it up amongst the family. I have inherited my grandma’s sewing stuff and her stash of phentex. I’m not sure what people call phentex outside of Canada, Phentex is a brand name rather than what the fiber is, but it’s a polypropylene yarn that biddies(such as my grandmother) like to use to knit nearly indestructible house slippers. It’s like a rough plastic roving... I wonder if it will felt. If it does than I can add this to my non-wool arsenal!
