One relationship I’m really looking forward to writing is probably poppy and Phil’s relationship

I’m not gonna talk about how it starts

But in the story when Phil notices that poppy is clearly trying to hide the fact that she’s struggling - shaking or being afraid Phil offers to do stuff to take poppy’s mind off of the current situation like giving her a candy bar (Snickers to be exact which poppy kind of really really loves) or even doing Poppy’s hair (so yes poppy literally walks around with different hairstyles because of Phil)

(Rough sketch- I’m cringing here) poppy is weirdly hard to draw bc of her proportions!

Phil also promised that the first thing they were gonna do when they left the factory was to introduce poppy to an ice cream snickers bars.

Did some more warm up sketches theyre kinda bad bc i have no idea what’s going on with my computer/stylus??? It kept glitching??? I had no chance to edit and adjust???

Phil absentmindedly says in one of the chapters that this whole thing could be a movie and then asks the various characters around her who they’d want to play them if it was a movie

Poppy can’t really answer bc she doesn’t know any modern actors and all her choices are dead

Ollie (who Phil DIDN’T ask) says he knows someone and says his choice would be Christian bale

Phil stops and asks “Christian bale? As in THE American Psycho, Batman Begins, and Howl’s Moving Castle Christian Bale?

And Ollie is like ‘yep! He’d be the perfect choice!’

A minute of silence passes and then she starts laughing and wheezing so hard that she falls to the ground.

Poppy asks her why she’s laughing and she’s like “I don’t know it’s just different, I guess- I just don’t think Christian Bale’s voice can go that high-,”

And poppy scolds her to be nice to Ollie who’s nearly breaking character over the phone while Phil Keeps on laughing and apologizing.

Ollie asks poppy if his voice is that high and poppy is like “uh well…these phones don’t have the best audio quality-,”

Phil finally asks how Ollie a literal child trapped in the factory with no contact in the world has any idea who Christian Bale is just as Ollie’s line goes dead.

Partially because Philomena is a mouthful and she’s so impartial about her name that she collects nicknames like Pokémon

Her Dad: Philly-bean

Her mom: Fina/Nina

Dr. Preston: Minnow

Eli: Mena/Minnie

Riley: Lola

Poppy: Pippa (I personally think this one is the cutest ngl)

Rich Lovitz: Phil

Dr. Harley Sawyer: *censored*

Everyone else just kind of calls her Phil or ‘the butcher’

Another ppt AU headcanon of child Phil-

If you were to force Eli to be honest with you- he’d note that Phil was really defiant/headstrong as a kid.

She never gave up on anything or anyone. (Much to the dismay of some scientists- particularly Dr. Sawyer who said she was ‘untestable’ )

The site had a cat that one day had a litter of kittens. They were letting some of the children take care of the kittens when they noticed there was a very small runt in the group. They didn’t expect it to survive the night but Phil refused to give up on it.

Dr. Willard did try to break it gently to her that sometimes in life things are unfair and can’t be changed but Phil wasn’t having it.

Eli told her that it was pointless. Eli knew a lot (scientifically) but he didn’t think the kitten had a chance. But whether it be out of sheer pity or just stubbornness she wrapped it in blankets and nursed it for the night and come sunrise when the kitten survive.

She raised that kitten for a few years but when it died she was beyond devastated.

Eli, who’d once been her biggest detractor in the matter was ironically the one who had to comfort her then. Maybe the kitten hadn’t lived as long as she hoped but it had still outlived everyone’s expectations because she’d been determined to give it a chance to enjoy whatever little time it had.

((The biggest irony of this is that Phil is more of a dog person than a cat but she loved her little kitten with all her heart-she named it Pickles))

Some more pointless HC about Phil:

-Phil learned how to speak Greek/German through her mother who only ever spoke those languages to Phil.

-Phil’s dad would speak patois/English to her. Phil’s dad had an accent that he did try to hide at times but would often still slip out and Phil ended picking it up.

-Phil speaks English with a soft British English accent but speaks Greek with a Greek accent.

-Phil taught Eli how to speak Greek and some other languages. in exchange for him tutoring her with her homework

Stupid fact time about Toy Story but evil

Phil is a trained opera singer (blame her mother) and when Ollie finds out that she can sing opera/broadway he has this huge list of song requests

The worst part is that (for all the beef the two have) she actually complies 😭

She’d deliberately only choose to answer the weirdest questions- partially dodge the reasonable ones and whoever her cohost is is going to have a very hard time dealing with whatever outside interruption (the prototype, his hunters etc) happens
