November's full moon is commonly referred to as a “Beaver Moon” because every year around this time, the rodents begin to hibernate in preparation for the cold winter months.
A supermoon occurs when the Moon’s orbit is closest (perigee) to Earth at the same time the Moon is full.

Happy June 1st!
So this is how my summer went down:
Two months of summer class. That’s how it went.
And for those two months, it was excruciatingly hot, and it was such a burden to be out of the house constantly just because you have to attend classes. Noontime was especially hot and craving for ice-cold water was a constant.
However, today was the 1st of June, and finally, IT RAINED. Like, I shouted a hallelujah when the first raindrop fell. It had been thunders and lightning all throughout April and May, and not so much of a downpour. I hated it. I mean, I grew up in a country situated in the tropics but I have to say, hot weather is definitely not for me and my hair. I love it when the weather is gloomy, cloudy, and threatening to shower upon the earth.
I’m glad today it finally did. I wish there was something that I could use, a camera or whatever, to somehow encapsulate that moment when the sound of the raindrops pelting against my bedroom window, or the contact between the rain and the leaves, or the beautiful glow of the sun as an aftermath of the much-awaited rain. But nothing felt adequate to capture that moment other than my own senses. So I put down my phone, sat by the doorstep, gazed at the bright orange and yellow sunset glow, and then closed my eyes and listened to the chirping of the birds. I’m going to miss this when I leave.
It was just glorious today. I loved it. Thank You, Lord!
