So I want to leave now

It was my very first time to vote and exercise my right as a responsible citizen of my country... But my fellowmen as well as the current administration failed me so did they to every Filipino. God bless our country for the upcoming 6 years.

im so fucking sad right now. I cant believe we’re not going to be under Sen. MDS’s administration. I can’t fcking believe some people are so stupid that her being a cancer survivor is a valid excuse of not voting her. I’ll be okay if she didn’t win but, come on, it’s so fucking shameless that she had LAST PLACE. Mar Roxas and Binay have more votes than her????? Are you people fucking serious. I’m just so fucking disappointed in this country. 

After this election, she won’t be running for ANY positions anymore. 

Philippines, think about it. It’s not Senator Miriam-Defensor Santiago’s lost. It’s ours. We just let go of the opportunity of having the greatest president we will ever fucking have. It’s all gone. We fucking wasted it. 

I’m very disappointed and sad on what just happened. I’m just going to sit here, drink my tea and watch ya’ll start a fucking revolution once shit goes down in Duterte’s administration. Tandaan niyo, GINUSTO NIYO. WALANG SISIHAN. 

So fucking disappointed.

Philippine Election Results

I am going to let this all out, so I can move forward. 

I am only heart-broken about the election results because I truly care for this country and believed in those I voted for, but I have now ask God for grace, healing and serenity to accept and support the elected. I also pray the same for each and every Filipino, so we can all move forward in rebuilding this nation. After all, we have one vision, one hope and one goal -- a reformed and progressive Philippines. 

I encourage every one to be kind to one another, especially to those who have been defeated. Be sensitive. Be humble. Allow tears. Allow mourning. Allow healing. 

However, this is not saying, the winners should not celebrate. Go rejoice. But please, please be kind.  In time, we will join you in victory because in the end, we are one nation. We need one another.

I am keeping my faith in this country and the elected leaders.

“Be gracious in defeat, be gracious in victory.”

Here is also a salute to all the women who have fought hard and well in this male-dominated elections. You have given us a voice. I am moved by your bravery, humility and character. Thank you for fighting the good fight. 

P.S. I am crying for You, Sen. Grace Poe. You are handling this better than I do. You have all my respect. Mabuhay ka Sen. Grace Poe. Salamat sa iyong laban.

U know it's time to leave the fucking country when the most qualified presidential candidate is at the bottom and the only excuse for not voting her is that "she'll die soon" or"she already has cancer, she can't make it." Like fuck yall are a disgrace to every member of various cancer organizations and to every living cancer patient who wants to achieve excellence in life because you just made all their dreams invalid. Stupid is indeed forever.
