One Year Down, Infinity To Go

Can you believe it’s been a full year of queer ish? On Saturday, April 7, FADE had its one-year anniversary, and it was magical!

FADE has transformed over the past year; it has experimented with being an art and music showcase to evolving into a creative experience that has spanned 3 cities, including Austin, TX during SXSW. The one-year anniversary reminds us to keep the intent of FADE in our minds as we continue to build. FADE is her philly moves’ vision of an inclusive and affirming safe space. As we QTWOC navigate societies that may not allow us to be who we are, her philly moves hopes to continue creating memories with you. We couldn’t manifest this vision without your support. Thanks for a dope year!

The group effort of preparing signs before a demonstration is a cultural phenomenon that carries on today. Posters and Signs are an important part of direct actions. They provide visual context for the action and allow different segments of the population and community to voice the issues from their POV. JUICE: A Recap

June 17 marked the first of Her Philly MOVES’ monthly day party series, titled “JUICE”.

Held at Life Do Grow Farm, JUICE had over 200 attendees (not bad for a day that was completely rained out until 5-6PM, huh?), JUICE kicked off with a dope lineup of visual artists, performers, and vendors... and ended with a few celebrity guest appearances.
