Pretzel Day at the office got me nostalgic for Pretzel Day in elementary school and now I'm wondering what other regional food events are out there. I'm not talking about pizza day in the lunch room, but like a day where you could purchase or contribute to the purchase of a specific food item.

Cotton lunch bags from Philly based Girls Can Tell. We're especially fond of the most hardcore (read: accurate depiction) print of the only-known-in-Philadelphia Philly Pretzel, which our web manager eats everyday for breakfast. They fit our Takenaka bento boxes like they were made in tandem and still have room to spare (for pretzels maybe?). Nice.
