I hate, hate, HATE tech broism and fetishizing technocracy. I work as a software tester and developer at IT company and there is always at least one person claiming superiority of programming and engineering over humanities and the latter being 'useless'. I always want to ask these people "okay, so you don't wear any clothes? Read any books or newspapers? Watch TV, listen to music, play video games, walk in the woods? Do you live in apartments that are just bare bricks, with no design? Drive a car without body? Never talk to actual people and understand what they are saying? Never voted? Watched any news, being able to understand and contextualize that what is actually happening? Never celebrate anything, never go on holidays, never travel? Do apps that you use have no frontend design?"

Don't these people understand that the world made only of engineers and programmers would be an actual hell, impossible to live in? That usability and practicality of things means nothing if there is no wider/deeper context within which it has an actual meaning?

So guys, please dont hate me for this post, but i wanted to do this from long time ago ... also sorry if it's too long and thanks for understanding Since 3.0, I always wonder about the meaning through WILLE and the OVA.. The meaning WILLE [ From Old High German willo, from Proto-Germanic *wiljô (“desire, will”), from Proto-Indo-European *welh₁- (“to choose, wish”).]So, is the german word for will, intention, or desire. It makes more sense to me when, while searching for the meaning of the  word, I found an example: “Wir haben den Willen unseres Volkes geschützt“, which means : We defended the will of our people. So in a way, that could be  their “motto”. A little bit of philosophy One thing led to another and I found something about  philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, who  is best known for his 1818 work : “Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung” (The World as Will and Representation )  wherein he characterizes the phenomenal world as the product of a blind and insatiable metaphtsical will, and adding  to that, that he is the first one to give name to the term  and force ; "Wille zum Leben" (will to live) , that this is a psychological force to fight for self-preservation seen as an important and active process of conscious and unconscious reasoning.  And this concept of the will to live can be seen as directly impacted by hope (that also hope is seen  through  Misato  and WILLE staff) 

In the end (if you still here and you don’t  think of me as a crazy person,THANKS!) Finally if we think about the concept of WILLE  as a part of “human representation”, I will say that it could be the mind. Then NERV (German Word for nerve) as a body, because of the “moves” and “actions”,and SEELE (German Word for Soul) well… soul.. So 3.0, it would be talking about the fight between mind, body and soul … I dont know if this makes sense.. but if we think about all organizations motto and also actions, maybe this can be true.. also you can agree that Evangelion is an anime who has a strong life philosophy and again I have to say … Hideaki .. thank you!

Only one seminar this time around. I spend most of my time just enjoying the fact that I can fly around as a snowy owl and sail around as a galleon. The one lecture does, as they always do, get me thinking and philosophising out loud, and I do question the concepts the game is trying to sell to me.
