7. Showtime Pt.1

I rolled in bed as my alarm kept singing my wake up call. I snooze it '5 more minutes' I muttered 'No, get up, you'll be late otherwise' I thought to myself as I rubbed my eyes. Looked to my right and through the window I saw that the sun hadn't fully come out yet.

I don't know what I expected, though it was barely 6:30 am on a winter morning, where I come from, the sun is not up till 7 am, approximately.

While brushing my teeth I run one more time through the list of things I need to do this morning. Starting a new project is always stressful, it wasn't my first rodeo but I'm a bit of a perfectionist which always means that I end up being my worst enemy if things don't go exactly as I plan them.

I never met anyone from our London office but I have spoken to a few of them in the past. Working for a multinational company has those perks; you always cross paths with someone at least once throughout your career.

After putting some moisturizer on, I went to the kitchen to prep my coffee. I always have breakfast while putting my make up on, multitasking is one of my specialties. I was about to put some music on but I stopped myself 'Mr Dan the Prick will kill me if I wake him up right now' I giggled as I grabbed my headphones.

Tapped on Spotify and started my morning, coffee in hand and 'I don't care by Fall Out Boy' in my ears.

'Makeup and hair, checked' said out loud while giving one last glance at the mirror. Went back to the bedroom to dress up, and grab my purse and backpack. I was almost ready to go. Went to the bathroom for the final touch: lipstick.

Checked my phone and I had a few minutes to spare, I sighted in relief. I'm always late and I mean ALWAYS. I may be getting up 3 hours prior to an appointment and still manage to get there 5 minutes late. One of the things I loved about the company I worked for is that they are solely oriented to results, so my constant tardiness was not an issue.

As I was about to head out the door I remember that I had not yet replied the note my neighbor left me the night before. Something about that made me feel a little playful, I wouldn't know how to describe it precisely but something got triggered inside me as I received them.

So, I sat on the counter stool,  grabbed the note pad I left there and started writing:

'Dear Mr. Dan the Prick,

It has taken me by surprise your correspondence during yesterday's rainy and taciturn night, despite the best wishes you threw upon me, the change of scenery has proven to be harder than I thought, although it was much needed.

I want to take this opportunity to let you know how much of a splendid neighbor I am as I woke up at 6:30 in the morning and instead of roaring my music through my speakers, I decided to mindfully take into consideration your request and used my headphones. In case you missed rising to the sound of some pristine tunes, Spotify's choice of the day was 'I don't care by Fall Out Boy'.

I am glad to read that you have the will power to constrain your howling however, I was in great shock that you decided to share a personal statement including one of your kinks with someone you barely know. This relationship is going too fast for my liking: P

I have to depart if I want to make it to work on time; no one needs to know how big of a mess I am on my first day, right?

I hope your day to be bright like the non-existing Londoner sun.

Before I realized and out of nowhere, I took my notepad and smooched a kiss on the paper leaving a transfer of my red painted lips on it.

'Why the fuck did I do that?' I asked myself. The reality was that I didn't know.

'Oh, well' I said as a shrugged.

Ripped the sheet out and headed out while folding it.

Slid it under their door and left.

The sun was finally peeking through the clouds

'I guess the sun rises after every rainy day, after all'

My bitmoji knows what's up!! So lucky to have so many donations and so many people supporting me. PAH is a progressive disease that has an impact on my lungs and heart. Breathlessness and dizziness are just some of my symptoms. I have very good disease control, but unfortunately this is not the norm. I have a lot of PHfriends who need oxygen, more medications and some who are wheelchair bound. At the moment the only so called "cure" is a transplant. While this gets rid of the disease it isn't without its risk. It also means of still have to take many medications for the rest of my life. But this is something that may be an option in the future. What even is your 'Phil Lester probably' tag about? Like I love it so much but what is it generally :)

it’s basically where i add anything that reminds me of phil, his aesthetic and his interests or what i think they may like/reblog - sometimes they’ve ended up reblogging stuff to their own tumblr (not from me but just randomly from someone else) which is always rewarding :’)

I never understood why people think that if d and p were to come out and say they were in a relationship, they would've been lying about being best friends. I grew up knowing my parents were best friends and then fell in love and got married. They start are best friends even though they aren't as in love. I always though it was the norm to just be with someone who's your best friend, so idk why ppl assume they'd be lying if they were to come out.
