Top Secret State of the Couples

LukmoSimai: Simai is still keeping secrets and Lukmo really has no idea. He's oblivious and thinks he has all the time in the world to bring them together. It's so obvious how in love he is, though, and next week is going to bring the new knowledge of Simai's plans to travel and Lukmo is going to... hopefully finally say something? Or just break? No idea.

BothNewyear: Why jealousy? WHY?!?! Why must it be a jealousy plot? What's going to happen with the planned proposal? Why is Both being obnoxiously annoying? Newyear cried and I am NOT OKAY with this, okay?

CopyNampu: WE HAVE KISS. WE HAVE A KISS, I REPEAT, WE HAVE A KISS. And them being sheepish and adorable and Copy is finally stepping up be who Nampu needs in their relationship by initiating and I just love them so much, okay?

SueaPlawaan: Soft, supportive boys are soft and supportive and have basically pledged their lives to each other. Now if they could just hold hands...

PhobNamo: Eak is trying to get in the middle of them and I do not appreciate this at all! Excuse me sir, you gave up your change, fully rejected Phob and refuse to even entertain taking that back. You can't have him to yourself but not give yourself to him. Also, you're a selfish spoiled brat and don't deserve him.

State of the Couples: TST!

LukmoSimai: Oh, look, they're not blood related. SHOCKER, Y'ALL. Lukmo knows, Simai doesn't yet.But Lukmo has his father's blessing for the relationship so... hey, now we just get to see if he's capable of making the first move!

BothNewyear: Little bits of jealousy? Wondering about that? Will the discussion of marriage come up again? I just want their drama to be over with so I can stop WAITING for it honestly.

PhobNamo: Screw MaiEak, Phob has found a new boy! Cafe boy is named Namo and he's a little sweetie! "If you decide to give a quiet boy a try... I'm here" is basically the cutest little flirt ever. Love them so much. MaiEak can go get his girl who obviously doesn't like him.

CopyNampu: I almost wept. They held hands! Copy keeps spoiling his boy like the darling little absolutely whipped man he is. There's promised drama next episode but it doesn't feel real, honestly. Ugh, whatever, just solve your problems like good boys.

SueaPlawaan: They're just soft and adorable, okay? Going to the movies! Obviously dating! Being sweet and cute! Plawaan really needs to update his ability to be romantic, though. But they're so cute. The tiny basketball match to build his confidence back up!

Basically, it's a bloated mess of a show but it's MY bloated mess of a show and I love it so much.

TST State of the Couples

CopyNampu: Started adorable and now is in a very sad little breakdown with Copy trying to come out of the closet for Nampu's sake but struggling with the realities of his own fears. Still very soft, honestly, and still very sweet. I love his dad so much.

SueaPlawaan: Not appearing in this episode

PhobNamo: ADORABLE. Valentine's day date! So sweet. Walks right past MaiEak getting ditched to grab their table. Huge fans. Love them.

BothNewyear: Not appearing in this episode BUT preview for next week says jealousy and proposal which is gonna be very interesting, tbh. Still dreading their drama.

LukmoSimai: Who put Lukmo in charge of this romantic relationship? We know he's in love with Simai. We know Simai loves him. And now Simai is about to leave the country without a word and Lukmo is going to hate himself if he loses this chance. He thinks he has all the time in the world to wait but he doesn't know how limited his time is.

Basically... Mostly darlings, Simai and Lukmo are idiots and I want MaiEak to end this show SAD AF. Also, super proud of Copy's dad for being another example of a very accepting and loving father! Now he just needs to come out to his friends and he can be sure to win Copy back!

I love Namo.

He gets to give MaiEak a lecture about love and friendship and jealousy and it's genuinely refreshing to see him go 'No, I won't fight you for him, love doesn't go to the winner.' because that's seriously nice to hear.

And MaiEak trying to be like 'I didn't want to turn him down but I had to because I didn't wanna be gay'.

And Namo explaining that maybe he should have figured that out before Phob started to move on, seriously...

I love this little show, okay? They're such darlings and Namo is shockingly mature for a Thai BL romantic interest.
