A blog that people might not know about, but that I want to recommend. Hmmm hard to choose. But someone who I have been mutuals with for a very long time - and who I definitely recommend - is @confusedau-ra.

As well as the adventures of Clara Lara (the titular confused Au Ra herself), this blog also posts many inspiring aesthetic pictures, reblogged FFXIV art and does a great job of celebrating the screenshots and gposes of others. A blog that I think might fly under the radar for a lot of people, but a real joy to follow and one of my favourite mutuals!

2. A blog who I wish posted more often - at least on Tumblr, as I think they are more active on the site formerly known as Twitter - would definitely be @phoebe-of-ivalice.

An incredibly talented writer and gposer, I am always very excited to see a new post from them. And despite being such an accomplished creator, they have always been very kind and friendly in every interaction I've ever had with them. Whilst I can fully understand that it's hard to spread yourself over multiple platforms, I can only hope those Twitter-types appreciate how lucky they are to have @phoebe-of-ivalice so active on their site!

[Drunk] your muse takes care of my very drunk muse.

"Phoebe please. I'm not that strong you gotta help me at least." A very drunken Sai whined to an even drunker Phoebe. The tiny Au Ra was currently trying to pull her friend onto the bed, a feat easier said than done.

Finally, after far too much struggling Sai managed to get the Viera onto the bed, collapsing for a bit herself. The workout had made her a bit dizzy, and she waited for the room to right itself before grumbling, "I told you not to challenge that Hrothgar to a drinking contest. Of course he was going to drink you under the table did you see how big he was?" Of course, being not even 5-foot, nearly everyone was big to Sai.

She pulled herself out of the bed, yawning. She shuffled toward the sink to fill a glass with water, going back to Phoebe and helping her to sit up with much less fanfair. "Here. Drink this at least so you don't wake up with a headache."

Rai smiled lightly at the question, taking a moment to think as he rubbed the back of his head. "Well... Getting kissed on the lips is a given. It's nice to be able to reciprocate the feeling and kiss back too." His face turned a light blush as he turned away slightly and continued to explain. "I can't say no to kisses on my neck though... It is a bit of a weakness of mine.."

"So I see you decided to join me after all. Excellent. I brought a new weapon to try out this time. I figured you'd still be lugging that axe around. Seems I was correct. And I think this should help even the playing field," Phoebe said as pulled out a katana from its sheathe.

She swiped through the air with the sword, rolling her shoulders to loosen up for the oncoming fight. She took her stance, ready to have a go at Thalin. She'd let him make the first move this time, she wasn't going to underestimate him again.

"Ah, I see," she nodded at Hanze's explanation. Perhaps she really was just lucky he found her then. She considered his question for a moment, debating what answer to give. Adventurer seemed safe enough anyways answer considering the chance she’d ever bump into him again.

“Mhm, have to go where the gil takes me! Just have to be a little more picky about what jobs I pick up I suppose. Don’t like to be tied down, you know? I enjoy the travel, though the Shroud isn’t my particular favorite. I’ll be happy to leave soon.” She was overdue to report to her contacts after her little run in with the voidsent, and they would be sending someone to check in on her soon if she didn’t respond. Once they parted ways she would need to rendezvous with an informer.

Phoebe began to feel less downtrodden the closer they got to Gridania. Hanze seemed to keep to himself for a good portion of the trip. Perhaps he was brooding over something important. She let him be and her thoughts started to drift to her next destination. She’d be on her way to Limsa Lominsa soon to board a ship set for the Far East to close a contract. This was an critical contract, one with personal meaning for her.

Phoebe woke up to a stream of sunlight pouring into her face from a nearby window. Her eyes flew open as she remembered where she was, and made an attempt to sit up. She groaned at the stiff aching in her back muscles. The healer had done their work well, and their magic had managed to close her wounds. She was sure the healer wouldn’t want her on her feet yet, but the last thing she wanted was to sit around this little hut.

Phoebe forced herself up, grabbing onto a nearby table to support herself. She dressed and managed to locate her things. She decided to leave the healer’s payment on their desk, since there would be less chance of being told to lay back down. She wondered if Hanze would still be in the village or if he had already taken his leave for Limsa Lominsa. The forest had a much brighter, cheerier energy about it today. Perhaps that would lessen her running into any more void sent for the time being. It didn’t take long to locate Hanze, fortunately for her an AuRa carrying a massive sword in red heavy armor was easy to spot.

“Good morning I hope you haven’t been waiting on me!” she greeted him with a broad smile. She noted the pretty glint of his long yellow hair and how it looked like spun gold in the sun. Something about it made her want to braid it into the small styles the Viera in her village used to do. They would typically tie in beads or feathers at the end, and was done as a bonding activity for friends. She shoved the memory to the back of her mind, bringing her presently to the man in front of her.

“I believe I owe you something to eat. If it’s not a complete inconvenience, we could walk to Gridania from here. Assuming you’re taking an airship to get to your destination that is?” She tilted her head to the side, large ears perked and waiting for his answer. He certainly seemed the quiet type from what she could remember… though that was limited considering her pain. Either way, she knew she would need to leave soon if she wanted to avoid the wrath of the healer.

You are soft but you are not quiet. Bright and loud and excited about life, you are likely the first to ask to pet someone's dog. You have always had a large group of acquaintances but struggle to maintain close relationships, always afraid they will leave, taking some of you with them.
