PHOEBE LETTICE X ILLUSTRATED PEOPLE
Designer and socialite Phoebe-Thompson's work had inspired me since it was released for Topshop in May 2014. Recently, I have found her tumblr and website which have given me more of an idea of her inspirations and work. In the video linked, it shows a short round up of the collection's start to finish process. I especially admired the start when her and her colleagues brainstorm by using a mood board on the wall of her office. On her tumblr and website is a lot of her fashion photography work. Phoebe's personal style is present throughout and all of the photographs are very professionally styled and shot. The images are interesting and promote street style and urban culture. Phoebe herself, is a fashion icon, all her clothing is individual. Her instagram is also a good promotion of her brand: in the video she describes her range as "a psychedelic, drugged up, explosion of barbie's insides, spread all over some clothes" and on her insta she regularly uploads photos reflecting the range that inspire her. She also uploads photos of her travelling and her social life as a great amount of her following was generated by her appearance on Channel 4's 'Made in Chelsea'.
