what I delivered
I am KING NAMOR! The MIGHTY Sub-Mariner! Supreme Ruler of The Deep! I have lived a dozen Human Lifetimes! I have No Equal! I am NOTHING like the rest!
But the Phoenix... it burned you just the same.
Waves of Fire towered above me. I felt like a single krill, lost in Endless Oceans. Have you ever felt small? I never had. I dislike it, intensely.
Happy 103rd Birthday to King Namor!!! Namor + the art of Jae Lee
I remember how someone said if Ozai won he would rename the comet to Ozai's Comet, but I feel like he would rename it more likely to Phoenix's Comet, the whole point is that he isn't Ozai anymore, why the fuck would he name it after his old identity? He isn't Firelord Ozai, he isn't Phoenix King Ozai, he isn't Ozai, he is THE PHOENIX KING.
Does 'Fire Lord Ozai is no more. Just as the world will be reborn in fire, I shall be reborn as the supreme ruler of the world' mean anything to you guys?
Some edited screenshots of Ozai, without his beard, wrinkles and defined cheekbones.
We dare say, he really looks like older evil version of Zuko without a scar...
This has always been such a powerful moment for me. Not because of the end result of Aang taking away Ozai's bending, though, but because of his resilience and conviction. He takes in so much of Ozai's energy, to the point I was sure it would swallow, corrupt him. I saw no way for Aang to win - at least not without becoming just as bad as Ozai when he took his life. Then, the power of Aang's conviction wins out, and he bounces back and overpowers the Phoenix King completely.
It's fictional (and real) accounts like these that are giving me hope in this darkest of timelines.
if he had kept his glasses Feat. @ask-ozai
