There was a certain building in the city that everyone avoided. It was infamously known for its peculiar tenants and their original approach to rent lowering practices. If there was one place to hide in plain sight, that was it.

So of course he was going to venture inside.

"All units stand by. One wrong move and we'll be swarmed instantly."

Bishop spoke in his microphone as he quietly explored the building. He moved with confidence, but was alert and ready in case that creeping feeling he was being observed revealed itself to be correct.

He finally came to a halt in front of one of the doors. Still very confident in himself and his plan, he knocked twice.

Gunther's hooves clip-clopped-clip-clopped against the pavement as he walked on ahead. The harness attached to him pulling a cart behind him full of fresh produce. Though he couldn't help but stop in front of a pretty blue man. "Free pomegranate for the pretty man?" He offered, "And you don't need to worry about the underworld with these ones," he tempted.

"Oh, yes! Thank you very much, if you would." Nel stepped closer to the cart. He recognized most people selling produce locally, and the sight of someone new coming through offered something novel.

A hand propped on the edge of the cart and he leaned to investigate.

"--Ah, and are you reserving the special underworld stock for the more zealous customer?" he teased.

The man in the hood held his is free hand up to Scrooge's face, a flame that was almost black roared to life in it, nearly missing hitting Scrooge by centimeter.

He winced at the flame's light and a whimper slipped out.

"Ah, er. You've made yourself convincing."

Ebenezer shed his coat from his shoulders and let the man have it.

The two figures were quite a sight. A pale woman marching down the street in summer ware and a man in an outrageously blue outfit and an orange hood chasing behind. "Maggie- at least put on a coat! You're going to get your clothing wet and then I'm going to have to give you my jacket!" The man stopped in his tracks at Scrooge entering his abode and grabbed onto his sleeve. "Give me your jacket. Now. You can afford a new one."

The odd pair bolting their way through the busy, wintry street caught his attention. He scarcely locked his eyes on them before one of the pair caught the sleeve of his coat.

"--Pardon me?"

"No, I cannot--and I will not have my coat snatched away from me by miscreants!" He snarled, tugging against him. "Unhand me!"

Jax held out his arms, filled with flower crowns. "one of her friends is putting a bundle on every grave in the nearby city. Another is dropping off free flowers to every church and wedding venue in the city. My niece is giving them away in the park. When I say a metric ton, I am not exaggerating."

"Oh--Heavens," they took as many as possible into their arms, stringing them over their hands like bracelets. "I don't expect that I can fare much better myself. I can decorate my home with them, but--oh, it's going to be tedious work finding a place for all of them."
