32. Dust Motes

Eileen purposely positioned her chair in the queen’s solar beside the window. She’d always preferred to embroidery with her face in sunlight, watching dust flicker around her fingers while she soaked up the warmth. 

It was a crowded window today, however, as it was also a window overlooking the knight’s training yard, and--yes, her husband and six knights just took off their tunics.

Ravenclaw, bitches. Out of all my friends, I am one of the ones up for the least amount of debate on this one.

22-Favorite type of AU?

This one’s rough, mostly because I create a lot of my AUs really randomly. I’m a sucker for Harry Potter AUs and I guess I really love a magical aspect, whether that’s monsters or actual magic users or whatever. Fantasy is where my heart runs wild.

Why do you dislike haikus?

Because I don't speak Japanese. All the traditional haikus I get into contact with lose something in translation, and the ones written in English just...don't do it for me. There's no enough sound. 

There are a couple I've liked, but for the most part I just don't haiku.
