OMG I FOUND PICTURES OF ME ASKING WIL WHEATON A QUESTION. :-D I love them, I am so excited. This was amazing I got a green wristband that said "you are awesome." It recently (like two days ago) fell off finally. xD This was amazing, I loved every second.
Thank Sir Wil for answering my question. I love you on the Big Bang Theory, in Stand By Me and your blog is awesome too! You are a really nice guy and I like and respect you a lot. Thank you for taking time out of your life to come to every Arizona Comic Con! You make us all feel better about being nerds. :D
It was truly an honor to get to ask him a question.
Ever sit there going "I really wish myself or anyone got that on video"?
Running to get a picture with Michael Rooker one of my friends (dressed as Aurora) did the most graceful face plant I have ever seen. Hoop skirt ended up over her head and she just popped right back up and took off. Anyone at PCC manage to at least get a picture of it?
Please if any one has any photos of a Miku Hatsune that had a Shiny Cosplay, please message me links to them or send me a note on deviant art (www.nightwolfxo.deviantart.com) Im having a really tough time trying to find some of the 30+ photos. It would mean alot to me :3
Let's start this story off with an important fact:
I have a supermassive glitterbomb geek girl hag crush on John Barrowman. (What? You could tell that by looking?)
He is every bit as fabulous, friendly, and flamboyant in person as you want him to be. No,really. The look on his face when someone brought confetti to their photo op defines "OMG YAY!".
What I did not expect from him was genuine selflessness. Or heroism. There were still thousands of people in the convention hall when the fire alarms went off Sunday afternoon, including a few hundred in line for photo ops. When I cleared the booths and headed for the exit, I discovered John Barrowman standing -smiling and relaxed- at the emergency exit for our end of the hall. He kept everyone calm, and was one of the last people out of the building.
When the apocalypse comes, someone beam me to Barrowman.
I got the convention at around 12 and had trouble finding people to be honest. The first hour was spent just trying to locate people so we'll skip that.
After locating more people, we all wandered around the vendor hall for a little while and slowly met up with more people and then just kind of sat around talking for a while which was really nice because we had all just met each other the day before and we were hungry so food.
Not long after that, some of us headed downstairs to start up the Supernatural Gathering which wasn't that big at first but slowly grew and it allowed us all to make some new friends and reunite with old ones (PEOPLE FROM LAST YEAR DSKLFJDSLK) and that's what it's all about! More and more people came and so we moved upstairs and played Truth or Dare in a circle for a little while before I had to move on and I headed down to the vendor hall with my friend. It was really cool, me and him got to stop by the Cosplay in America booth and get our photo taken!!!
I bought a really cute print in the vendor hall and had a lot of fun just looking at all the stuff with another friend and WHY MUST STUFF BE SO EXPENSIVE especially all the signed stuff that they had for sale. Gah.
Back upstairs, we met up with the rest of the Supernatural group and decided to go for a photoshoot. So we headed outside (the long way around unfortunately) and wound up at the Basilica where we got some really cool shots! I can't wait to edit and post them they all look really really cool. My friends who were cosplaying Steam Powered Giraffe showed up and we got some more photos before going back to the convention hall for a little while.
I brought my 2 Deans, Sam and Lucifer down to Almost Focused and we took a few shots, which was really neat because now I have some great shots of my Leviathan!Castiel! I'm super excited to show you all. I seriously love that Lucifer to death like new best friend ok ily and then we all met up for dinner.
Three blocks down the road, we found a chipotle and commandeered three tables to eat at and it was really fantastic. Lots of derp pictures were shared and we finished writing out dumb "bad fanfiction" where we each wrote a sentence :3
We all had to dissipate afterwards and say goodbye as some of us headed back to the convention center; I had a panel to help with!
I was on for the Homoerotic Subtext of Supernatural as Leviathan Castiel and let me tell you it was a BLAST. It was so fun just having like, live shipping wars in a room. Live tumblr is what is should be called. Definitely an interesting experience. I want to go read fanfiction now.
I had to wait for a while for my dad to pick me up so we just hung out and chatted and that was that! More to come tomorrow!
Ehrmagerd! Wil Wheaton just complimented my Loki cosplay in the elevator. It was just me, him, and his wife for several floors. Sadly I was shocked he had not yet seen Avengers. I gave him my disappointed shocked face. He exclaimed "I'm busy! I'm producing two shows!" It was adorable.
