Front yard Permaculture Jardin de Cure/Forest Garden/Physic garden based off the shape of an ankh. The Jardin de Cure was an ancient European traditional forest garden filled with fruit, flowers, medicinal herbs and food, grown in easy half-wild beds but the formal shapes of the formal gardens the educated curate would have studied. The whites and blues were intended to shine after work hours, when the curate and his wife, who was typically an herbalist and midwife, were finally free to relax. The white is indeed stunning at dusk.
Taking advantage of the holiday to do the last harvest of the season from my physic garden. Time to till the soil and let it rest for the cold season.
