[🐎] — After the recent chaotic fires, and having the topic of her magic brought up in conversations with Laney and Doctor Trent, Georgia had been thinking more about her fire magic... or more specifically, the book that she’d found with Neil on that volcanic island, the one she was sure could help her learn to better control her powers.
If only she understood what in Goddess’ name it was saying.
Using the pictures as a guide was helping her to make a little progress, but not the kind she wanted... no, needed. She wasn’t planning on using her magic regularly, but she wanted to know that when she did, the people and animals around her wouldn’t be at risk.
And so, after a little snooping and research, Georgia stumbles across a person she thinks might be able to help her. A reclusive fortuneteller, who was fabled to possess untold knowledge, and was apparently an expert in all things magical. She wasn’t sure how true any of that was, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to check out. Especially when she had nothing else going for her.
So after learning that this ‘fortuneteller’ spent a good bit of time at the library, Georgia heads there. It doesn’t take her very long to find him at all, either--- all she needed to do was scope out the weird looking guy with his nose buried in a book.
“Excuse me,” She says softly, approaching him. The fire mage book was nestled securely in her arms. “You’re... that fortuneteller, right? Sorry to bother ya, but d’you think you could help me with something? Something important?”
