✧ They have yet to play their duet, but that doesn’t matter too much to Vishnal. Yuzuki’s company is lovely, music or not, and it’s not like they have to totally avoid music in the times that they do spend time together! Like right now, with faint music playing in the background as Vishnal approaches for another dance.
✧ Their motions for the “masquerade” had been anxiety-ridden and exhausting, at least in Vishnal’s experience. Being a teenager had ruined his entire psyche for the night, but now that he’s had the chance to recover and regain his lighter mind, he wants to try it once more. To make it up to himself and also Yuzuki, who (if he recalls correctly) had his own problems that night that made it harder to enjoy than usual.
✧ “May I?” he asks, and another gentle, but much more... free dance follows. Filled with slight conversation and humming along to the song before it inevitably ends. Normally, he would blush for being so forward, but they’ve done this before right? It’s alright.
✧ He doesn’t think Yuzuki is uncomfortable, but... “Pardon me if I was pushy,” he says, just to make himself feel better. I thought I wasn’t supposed to be so anxious anymore.
✧ And, well, anxiety can have physical side-effects, though this is... less conventional. He teeters, having leaned too far with the music, and lets out a little cry of surprise as he tries to catch himself. Cheeks flaming, he breathes a sigh of relief when he realizes he didn’t just trip and fall on even ground, and looks back-- up? -- at Yuzuki. “Sorry!”
✧ I thought I was taller than this. But, apparently in his fall, he had reached out to the nearest entity capable of steadying him, which was Yuzuki. So Vishnal is, uh, clinging to him, back awkwardly bent like the baby giraffe he apparently is.
✧ Okay, I can say this is a hug, right? He rights himself, straightening his shirt. “Heh.”
