I can't believe I have to make a PSA about this
Istg EVERY woman who takes charge of her romantic life, sexuality, or even acts any way (even for herself) is slapped with a "pick-me" label. It pisses me off to no fucking end.
So let's get this straight.
Pick me = puts down other women, femininity, or feminism to her benefit in order to be called "one of the good ones" and validated by men. She disassociates herself from other women and femininity for the sole purpose of men liking her. Pick-me girls are misogynistic.
Not pick me = LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE.
This world just hates women who takes the reigns in her life. If she advises men or tells them what to do (you know, like a boss or manager in a workplace), she's a "bitch". If she flirts with guys, she's a "pick-me" or a "slut".
You can't see it, but I'm exploding the world with my brain right now.
