Getting a picocalc probably in 3-5 months there isn't enough content on here about it so I want to talk about it and what I'm going todo with it

I plan to have it by my side when studying as a little toy to help pass the time. Thinking of having it calculate random stuff over time like the Fibonacci sequence or π.

I will probably learn raspberry pi circuits and programming since it has the GPIO receivers on the side makes it really easy to use which will be fun since I don't actually have much experience with rassberry pi I have worked with 1 arduino before but it wasn't that good

I plan to make it a weather station to collect data every now and then probably let it run for 1 to 2 weeks (with battery changes) so I can see if my chickens need more heating in the coop.

I wanna see if I can get it to beat Matt Parkers record of looking for the optimal wordle chain

a ereader someone made the software already I think its neat

I wanna use it for my Cyberpunk game as a character sheet.

Finally remember DietPi is one step from raspberry pi os regardless of the processor its installed on.

... They didn't adapt this demo for the picocalc keyboard did they

...can't get it to build on my m4 Mac. The pico SDK and Brew's version of arm provided GCC just aren't working together

Behold my incantation First you install stm32cubeprogrammer

check out https://github.com/clockworkpi/PicoCalc.git (in console) cd into the Picocalc directory (in console)

then you turn off you picocalc then you remove the batteries for 30 sec to be sure Put batteries back in Then you open up your picocalc You switch DIP1 to on you plug it into your OSX box with the usb c port

Trying to set up Pico SDK for the ClockworkPi Picocalc.

I think I'm being taken for a walk around the block with these directions. That is, every single thing is cobbled together. I apparently have been spoiled by Manjaro and the AUR and having a proper format to write install instructions down in.

And I'm still trying to do this on os x and homebrew. Its. Its not meant for developing anything but osx apps, is it.
